Had [livejournal.com profile] jerrinfox  (Xzadfor) over for the tail end of last week and this past weekend. It was nice having him around :) [livejournal.com profile] studychemistry (BeardedWolf) was also in town so we went and had dinner and desert with him Thursday night. Xzadfor made chicken for dinner Friday night, which was ready for Marrow and I when we got home. Man that was nice. I'm too lazy to cook (or rather, my evening time is precious, and I'd rather grab a bowl of cereal than wait for something to make itself). We all went ice skating on Saturday, which was fun, but slightly hazardous. There was a good amount of people there, and the ice wasn't completely frozen in some areas so it was watery, making it difficult to maneuver. [livejournal.com profile] fiskblack  and Xzadfor get an A for effort, at least they tried to ice skate :) And then Sunday was work day and Xzadfor went home yesterday.

Thinking about test driving some vehicles this weekend... or next weekend. We'll see. I'm running out of weekends though, I'm supposed to contact the dealer and have my vehicle ordered in September if I have any intent of picking it up in late November when I'm in Michigan.

Having gone ice skating myself at the olympic rink at Squaw Valley, I have to ask... Did anyone fall on their buns?

As long as no one cracked their head, sometimes those tumbles can make funny photos.

No one fell that I saw. Jay almost did, but caught himself :)

Well that's good. Last time my youngest brother and I went to Squaw Valley's rink he slipped and knocked his noggin; he ended up with a mild concussion.

Sorry... that was me...
